Let me introduce myself…
I’ve always wanted to be a musician. I can’t really imagine doing anything else. I started playing violin when I was four years old. Throughout my career I’ve played trumpet, bass guitar, drums, french horn, piano, and guitar, but singing has long been my main focus. I’m a true Sagittarius man – honest, passionate, adventurous, sensitive to others feelings, independent, a big fan of animals, optimistic, a perfectionist, and strongly creative.
Other than playing music, I usually find myself looking for a creative project like restoring old furniture or vintage bikes. I also really love cooking Thai, Mexican, Spanish, and BBQ. I’ve got a keen interest in cocktail mixology, as I’ve worked in a number of fine dining restaurants and cocktail bars. And I get a great feeling from doing something active like surfing, cycling, yoga, or simply walking with my dog Mali.
I recently got married to Gabby at Twin Waters Novotel Resort, Sunshine Coast. Gabby and I met in Montreal, Canada in 2013. It was a fateful meeting at a live music venue, she was this demure brunette with a cute French-Canadian accent, and I was the scruffy-bearded flannel wearing Australian. I bought her two glasses of Sangria, we danced to a band but only had eyes for each other, and the rest is, as they say, history!
I could tell you about all the courses in music I’ve completed, and all the albums I’ve recorded, tours, and awards I’ve received. But the most important thing you need to know about my music career is, I have the utmost respect and admiration for all music. I will always work hard to perform to my best ability. I am driven by the idea that music brings us together to have fun, share the moment, and create some lasting memories.
